I always look forward to the spring blossom. It’s like our reward for surviving winter again. As my contribution to Cee’s flower of the day here is the first blossom of my year, duly photographed in Syon Park, Isleworth today.

Yes, we had our first warm day, I say warm, 14-15 degrees C, but warm enough. Of course it will get colder again, but we are in the ebb towards spring now. Where I live in Surrey is fairly warm compared to a lot of the UK even.
Where are you based again?

Just about to ask what tree this is…we have the same ones. They pop out by mid-February usually here in Northern California (posted one on Sunday Stills).I love those and now I read they’re white cherry blossoms. Enjoy your spring-like weather Gavin!
