This week Cee’s B&W photo challenge is the subject ‘Construction related’. Living here in Kingston we have a lot of construction going on almost constantly. Today was a nice sunny day, cold, but not clouded and snowing like the few days before. I set about trying to get some good contrasts with the sky and some of the various building projects on the go. And I snapped a couple of other things that took my fancy. Click on any of the shots below to open the gallery.

Nice black and whites!

There seems to be a lot of construction going on in your area!!
Great photos. The second one looks like the wooden hull of a fishing boat.

Actually it’s an old Victorian building they are renovating. Part of the upgrade of one part of town.

I love Victorian architecture.

Plenty of that her! I like French architecture from the same period. There is something very solid about it, but also ergonomic as well.

I like that France is so rich with architecture types whether it is big buildings or common houses. But the Victorian bow windows have always had a little je ne sais quoi for me!

I see your point. I think we tend to value less the things we see every day!

Great shots, especially in b/w. Always much construction work in London. 😉
