This is my entry for Cee’s Photo Challenge this week. The theme this week is in the distance.
The shot above was shot along the East Coast of Northland NZ. The next was taken from a mountaintop in Crete last year. Looking out across the town of Rethymnon and the Aegean sea beyond.
This next one was shot in the Bay of Islands, I realise the ship is not exactly in the distance, but I viewed as the beginning of a journey with the unknown distance beyond.
And finally, although not perfect, this has always been one of my favorite shots, taken at night in Thailand, Kho Phi Phi Don. In the distance, the moon….
Good shots here. Keep it up!

I totally agree. I find myself doing more and more. Are you entering the challenge?

No. Not really. I’ll be admiring from the distance.

Thank you Perpetua. That was a brilliant mornings climbing to get up there. It changed me, reminded me who I used to be. I have been a different person since then in a lot of ways.

Being out in the world and to see the beauty of the world changes one’s perspective.

Yes I agree. A life without new experiences is a life wasted.

Mine too! I love it when the moon looks like a kind of washed out sun
