Walking home tonight we were blessed with one of those skies that just make you stop and stare. Sorry the quality is not great, but like with so much these were taken with my iPhone 5s. Not exactly top of the range. However, the view from Kingston Bridge, with the trees bordering Home Park were beautiful. I hope you enjoy.
Now, THAT’s an exquisite moment of beauty!

Wonderful – trees against the sky , and what a sky! – is completely soothing.

It really was, and the photos don’t do it justice.

They never do, do they? But when we look at them, we can hold the feeling again.

I have taken some good shots along the way, but generally when I a had a decent camera rather than an iphone. What is it about sunsets that makes us so happy?

I don’t really know. My own theory is that there is some sense of nostalgia and loss when another day in life is over. Generally maybe we are more relaxed after the day’s busy work too, and open to the colours and the world coming to rest. What do you think?

I think you are right. Plus Sunsets are nature’s art, but on such a big canvas. How can you not be in awe.

Wow! These are brilliant! And you know what – the best camera is always the one you carry with you. 😉 So no more excuses 😉
